Dr. 沙龙 钟, a rheumatologist, is director of the UCSF 血管炎 Clinic. She specializes in autoimmune diseases, particularly systemic vasculitides, a group of rare autoimmune disorders that affect multiple organ systems and involve blood vessel inflammation.

In her 研究, 钟 studies genetic factors associated with the development and progression of vasculitis and other autoimmune diseases.

钟 earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She completed a fellowship in rheumatology and earned a master of advanced study degree in clinical 研究 at UCSF.

Before coming to work at UCSF, 钟 gained expertise caring for patients at the Center for 血管炎 Care and Research at Cleveland Clinic.

钟 received the American College of Rheumatology’s Distinguished Fellow Award in 2007.
